THE IMPORTANCE OF QUALITY IN THE MISSION OF ENTERPRISES

Krzysztof Mielczarek, Stanisław Borkowski

Abstract: This paper presents the results of a survey conducted among enterprises from various industries. It examines the significance of quality as a key factor in the Toyota House model, specifically in its roof. In addition to quality, the roof also encompasses safety, lead time, implementation costs, and team morale. These five factors constitute the E1 area of the BOST method, a fundamental research tool in Toyotarity. The study identifies the characteristics of the respondents, establishes importance rankings, evaluates the degree of similarity in preferences, assesses the significance of differences in average ratings, and analyzes the impact of respondents' characteristics on the perceived importance of each factor. Based on the results and their analysis, the missions of the enterprises were formulated.
